ZNUT HAPPY WITH FEE REDUCTION

The Zambia Nation Teachers Union -ZNUT-says the reduction in practicing certificate license fees by 15 percent will help enhance professionalism in the service.

ZNUT Director Public Relations and International Affairs, GODWIN MASEKA says more teachers will be managing to renew their license because of affordable fees.

Mr MASEKA has told ZNBC News that Education Minister DOUGLAS SYAKALIMA has heard the concerns of teachers by acting on recommendations of the Teaching Service Commission.

He said the move is going to motivate teachers career.

Yesterday, Ministry of Education Minister DOUGLAS SYAKALIMA reduced all teachers practicing certificate license fees by 15 percent.

Mr. SYAKALIMA is hopeful that the development will facilitate easy renewal of teacher practicing licenses for the next cycle until 2024.
