ZNBC TO SHOW U17 COSAFA TOURNAMENT

ZNBC will tomorrow, Saturday televise two games from the Under 17 football tournament at the on-going COSAFA 2020 Region five Youth Games in Maseru, Lesotho.

ZNBC Acting Head – Corporate Affairs HARRIET MWIINGA says the Women’s Under 17 encounter between Namibia and Zambia will kick off at 10:00 hours and the Under 17 Men’s encounter between Eswatini and Zambia, kicks off later at 15:30 hours.

MWIINGA says the two games will be live on TV3, which is channel FOUR on the Topstar decoder.

And on the same day, ZNBC TV3 will also broadcast live, the FAZ/Eden University National Division One league games involving Gomes Football Club and Mufulira Wanderers and Kitwe United Versus Jumulo at 13:00 hours and 17:30 hours respectively.

MWIINGA says on Sunday, ZNBC TV1 will show, live the Second leg, pre-group stage match of the CAF Confederation cup between Red Arrows and SIMBA FC of Tanzania.

The match will be played at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka and kick off time is 15:00 hours.

MWIINGA says the Corporation further calls on business houses to partner with the Public broadcaster and sponsor the live football broadcasts.
