ZNBC RECIEVES KUDO’S FOR ROLE IN THE COVID -19 FIGHT

Copperbelt Province Permanent Secretary Bright Nundwe has praised workers at the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation -ZNBC- for working tirelessly to sensitize the public on Covid 19.

Mr. Nundwe has commended ZNBC staff and the media in general for playing a critical role in the fight against Covid 19.

He was speaking at the Kitwe Studio when he handed over Covid materials to ZNBC staff in the Northern region and other media organisations.

Mr. Nundwe noted that the commitment by the journalists has compelled his office and the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit to donate an assortment of Covid materials and food stuff.

And ZNBC Northern Region Acting Director Patrick Banda said workers at the institution have not been spared from the effects of the pandemic.

Meanwhile Speaking on behalf of other media houses present, Radio Phoenix Reporter Mike Kaluba called for continued collaboration between the media and government to fight Covid 19.
