ZESCO United two points away from eighth league title after win over Kitwe United

ZESCO United is now only two points away from securing their ninth league title following a 4-0 win over relegated Kitwe United at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium on Sunday.

Kenyan talisman Jesse Jackson Were was the star man on Sunday afternoon as he netted a hat-trick to help ZESCO United to an emphatic victory and in the process reaching a century of goals for the Ndola-based outfit.

Winston Kalengo contributed the other goal for Numba Mumamba’s men who now only need to win one of their last four games or force two draws to seal the league win.

ZESCO lead the log with 61 points after 30 matches with ZANACO eight points behind them in second place.
