Zesco to spend April on the road

April will be a very busy time for Zesco United who looks already tired due to their involvement in both CAF Champions League and the Confederation Cup.

Their title defense will be determined during this period were they will play a total of 7 games in 4 weeks. In those 7 games they will face the likes of Zanaco, LD and Kabwe warriors.

Their journey will start on the 3rd April when Kabwe based club Prison Leopards visits Ndola for week 6 rescheduled match, then 3 days later Team Ya Ziko will travel to the southern part of Zambia to play another Leopards in Nakambala.

Zesco then will travel about 150km to the capital to play another rescheduled (week 7) match against Red Arrow at Nkolama stadium. They will travel back to Ndola for week 12 fixture against Magnificent people’s club Kabwe Warriors.

On the 17th April, Zega Mambo will be at home playing a rescheduled week 8 game against Lusaka Dynamos but the game of the season will be played 3 days later when Zesco plays the in from Zanaco side at Sunset Stadium.

The Ndola based team will conclude matters at home in Ndola as Maite Mufulira Wanderers, so far Zesco player have looked so tired due to the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation engagement.

Zesco’s season start as early as December last year were they played Champions League preliminary matches but were relegated to the Confederation Cup after losing to Congo giants TP Mazembe.
