ZANAMACA BACKS NEW MARKET POLICY

The Zambia National Marketeers Credit Association -ZANAMACA- has welcomed UPND Alliance’s move to stop political cadres from interfering in the operations of markets.

ZANAMACA President Mupila Kameya says cadres have in the past been a source of confusion in market places a reason that created an exist door for the Patriotic Front from Government.

Speaking to ZNBC News, Mr. Kameya says the position taken by the UPND Alliance will not only allow Marketeers to freely operate but also give the Councils revenue.

He says Councils should be the richest institutions but have however failed to sustain operations because of interference from cadres.
