Zamren pledges to support Govt digital agenda

The Zambia Research Education Network -ZAMREN – has pledged to support government’s digital transformation agenda.

ZAMREN Acting Board Chairperson, Professor PINALO CHIFWANAKENI says digital learning and research are key for modern teaching and learning techonolgies .

Proffessor CHIFWANAKENI said this during the Launch of EDUROAM Internet Access in LUSAKA today,.

And, Technology and Science Minister FELIX MUTATI said ZAMREN’s deployment of internet in public places is an opportunity for the country to produce globally competitive students.

Mr MUTATI is also confident that University Students representing Zambia at the World Skills Africa Competition to be held in Livingstone will be competitive.

Meanwhile, Parliamentary Committee Chairperson on Education, Science and Technology, HARRY KAMBONI urged students to utilise the ZAMREN EDUROM facility to be more creative and innovative.
