Zambia to undertake study on cost of production electricity
ERB has shortlisted five international bidders to conduct research on production and cost of electricity as the country tries to move to cost-reflective tariffs in order to attract private investment.
It is expected that the winner of the bid will undertake the study within a 12-month period.
The the project is being undertaken with the help of the African Development Bank.
In recent past Stakeholders have expressed concerns that the pricing of electricity Zambia is too low to attract private sector investment.
