By Masauso Mkwayaya

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says government has invited Botswana to invest in the country’s mining sector because of its expertise in managing diamonds.

Speaking during the launch of the Lusaka International Arbitration Center -LIAC-, President HICHILEMA said Zambia needs to learn from Botswana on how it has managed to benefit from its Diamonds.

He says Zambia can do to its Emeralds, what Botswana has done to its diamonds.

President HICHILEMA says he is confident that investors like Botswana will have access to the Lusaka International Arbitration Centre -LIAC- whenever they will be faced with disputes.

He said LIAC will deal with commercial issues expeditiously.

President HICHILEMA said investors come into Zambia with high expectations and that LIAC should help to maintain the country’s good image by helping businesses to settle disputes quickly.
