By Patricia Banda

Visiting UN Tourism Regional Director for Africa, ELCIA GRANDCOURT says Zambia has the capacity to host the second summit on tourism for Chief Executive Officers from all the 54 countries in Africa.

Ms GRANDCOURT, who was in the country to tour some facilities in Livingstone ahead of the summit to be held from 22nd to 24th July, 2024, has observed that government is doing a lot to boost tourism.

She has told ZNBC News that the country has good facilities that will enable it to host the Second summit after Namibia that had hosted the previous one.

And, Ms GRANDCOURT said her organisation is working on investment guidelines for Zambia in the tourism sector.

She noted that the guildlines will help investors to invest in tourism projects that are available and will be launched during the summit.
