ZAMBIA APPRECIATE CHINA’S SUPPORT

Minister of Health, SYLVIA MASEBO says the continued relationship between Zambia and the Chinese government has helped improve quality service delivery in the health sector.

Ms. MASEBO says the relation between the two countries has seen both infrastructure and technical development in the health sector, through training and skills development.

Ms MASEBO said this in a speech read on her behalf by the Ministry’s Permanent Secretary for Administration GEORGE MANGWENDE during a donation of various medical supplies by the 22nd China Medial team to Zambia.

The donation is meant to help the Levy Mwanawasa Teaching Hospital fight the Covid-19 pandemic.

And, China Medical team Leader, ZHAO HAIYUAN said China will continue to support government in its quest to provide quality health care service to the citizens more so now when the world is fighting the Covid-19 pandemic.
