WOMEN TOLD GET ESTHER LUNGU EMPOWERMENT

By Christopher Miti- Eastern Province Minister, Makebi Zulu has appealed to women in the region to take advantage of the empowerment interventions by the Esther Lungu Foundation Trust.

Mr Zulu says he is happy that the First Lady, Esther Lungu, through the foundation, has empowered several women with startup capital, for their various income generating activities.

He says the works of the organisation will go a long way in supplementing government’s efforts in addressing the difficulties that people face in society.

Mr Zulu however says government will continue working with such organisations, whose main preoccupation is to improve people’s lives.

He was speaking in an interview with ZNBC news at his office in Chipata.
