WOMEN TO GET TRACTORS

Violet Kawelani, age seventy Four, at work in her farm discipline in Zombwe, in northern Malawi.
Authorities has procured 20 tractors and implements at a price of 6.9 million Kwacha.
Minister of Gender Elizabeth Phiri says the tractors and implements are supposed to empower females cooperatives across the country particularly in rural areas.
Ms. Phiri acknowledged of the 20 tractors sold by her ministry, 17 absorb been given to Eastern province.
She acknowledged this when she handed over the tractors to the beneficiaries in Nyimba District.
