WE’LL SHALL NOT CLOSE MARKETS -LUNGU

President EDGAR LUNGU has assured traders in the country that he will not close the markets because of the Covid 19 pandemic.

President LUNGU says some people have asked him to close the markets as a way of fighting Covid-19.

Th President however says he has refused to do so because most people depend on the markets for survival and will suffer if he closed them.

He said this when he visited Mtendere market in Lusaka where he donated health kits meant to fight the Covid 19 pandemic.
