US LOOKING FORWARD TO SUCCESSFUL ZAMBIAN ELECTION

 

By Wilson Mulinda-The United States government says it is looking forward to Zambia holding successful elections in 2021.

US Charge D’ Affairs David Young says Zambia and his country have a lot in common especially that the US is coming from holding a successful election.

And Mr. Young has reaffirmed his government’s cooperation with Zambia in the health and infrastructure sectors.

He was speaking when he paid a courtesy call on Lusaka Province Minister Bowman Lusambo.

Meanwhile, Mr. Lusambo said Zambia respects democracy and the rule of law.

He said the US government has been supportive to Zambia in many sectors of the economy.

The Lusaka province minister said Government will continue to partner with the US government in sectors like education, health and agriculture.
