UPND TO FULFILL ASPIRATIONS OF ALL ZAMBIANS

Vice President Elect Mutale Nalumango is optimistic that the United Party for National Development -UPND- government will fulfill the aspirations of Zambians.

Mrs. Nalumango says her government will prioritise the agriculture sector to ensure food security in the country.

She also expressed confidence that the UPND  will implement people driven constitutional reforms.

Mrs. Nalumango said this in Lusaka today when the women movement called on her.

The Women Movement comprised delegates from Non-Governmental Organisation Coordinating Council -NGOCC-,Women Lobby and Young Women Christian Association-YWCA.

Meanwhile, NGOCC Chairperson Mary Mulenga called on Mrs. Nalumango to lobby for the operationalisation of the Gender Equity and Equality Commission.

At the same function, Women Lobby Chairperson Beauty Katebe asked Mrs Nalumango to influence government to ensure gender parity in decision making positions.

And YWCA President Reverend Rosemary Mulumo Appealed To Mrs. Nalumango to be the voice of women in their various spheres.
