Unruly youths nabbed

Police in Lusaka have apprehended four unruly youths who went on rampage harassing the public and grabbing mobile phones in Chawama Compound.

Zambia Police Deputy Public Relations Officer DANNY MWALE says the four are being held in Police custody.

Mr. MWALE says the youths were also grabbing personal belongings from passersby.

He says the four suspects include 35 year old BRIGHT SIMOZA and three other male juveniles.

The quartet is yet to be charged.

Yesterday, President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA directed the Police to arrest people who are in the habit of harassing the public.

This follows the harassment of people, who attended an event where President HICHILEMA commissioned a borehole in Kalikiliki Compound on Wednesday.
