UNDER 14,18 HOCKEY TEAMS READY FOR ZIMBABWE SERIES

The Zambia Hockey Association -ZHA- has declared the under 14 and 18 national teams ready for the 2022 junior hockey series to be held in Zimbabwe.

Association Technical Director ISHMAEL MBATATA says the boys and girls set to represent the country have intensified training ahead of the competition that will run from the of August 7 to 11, 2022.

MBATATA told ZNBC Sports during the team’s training session at OYDC Sports Development Centre that the outing is meant to strengthen the sport at grassroots level.

And NDABILA MULENGA, who plays for the boys U-18 team, said players are working on sharpening their skills.
