U17 Women’s World Cup Team named

Zambia Under -17 Women’s National Team coach CAROL KANYEMBA has named a 35-member provisional squad for the Under 17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Uganda.

The Junior Copper Queen will host Uganda in the first leg third round qualifier on the 12th of May 2024 before traveling for the reverse fixture a week later.

KANYEMBA has since retained majority of the players who featured in the 5-1 aggregate win over Tanzania while others are new players eligible to play at U-17 level.

And, Speaking to ZNBC Sport News in an interview Football Association of Zambia -FAZ- Communications Manager SYDNEY MUNGALA said the team will start early preparations in a bid to effectively prepare for the encounter.
