TWO DIE IN ROAD ACCIDENT

By Lucky Phiri:Two people have died while three others have sustained injuries in a road traffic accident which happened on Lusaka’s Cairo road around midnight on Saturday.The bodies of the deceased are lying in the University Teaching Hospital -UTH- mortuary while the injured have been admitted.UTH Public Relations Officer Natalie Mashikolo has identified the deceased as Mwila Mutale, a student of Zambia Institute for Special Education -ZAMISE- and Sydney Mukuka, 33, a Prisons Warden.Ms. Mashikolo says those admitted are Pius Chongo and Naomi Ngoma also students at ZAMISE and the driver identified as Rita Mazoka, 33.She said the UTH has still not been availed with the details of the accident as the victims can barely recall what transpired.
