TWENTY members of the United Church of Zambia -UCZ- women’s wing have died in a road accident in Nsama District, Northern Province.

Eighteen of the victims died on the spot, while two others died at Nsumbu clinic, where they were rushed after the accident.

The accident happened today around 01:00 hours, when a light truck, the victims were in, overturned, while descending the Chaushi Hill, a few kilometres from Nsumbu.

This was after the driver of the light truck lost control of the vehicle.
