TRIBUTE TO KK

By Ruth Cjhayinda- First President KENNETH KAUNDA has continued to receive tributes from various organisations and individuals.

Among people that have visited the funeral house for the late Dr. KAUNDA today to pay their tributes is the Zambia National Building Society -ZNBS- Board Chairperson DAVID NAMA who says the former President was instrumental in the transformation of the hous
ng sector.

Dr NAMA says Dr. KAUNDA had a great vision for the Zambian people.

He said Zambians should celebrate the life of Dr. KAUNDA as he will be remembered for doing his best for humanity.

Also speaking shortly signing the book of condolence, Kagem Board Chairperson SIXTUS MULENGA said Dr. KAUNDA will be remembered for his determination to develop the country through nationalizing of the mines.

AND Cleaning Association of Zambia President LAWRENCE MAKUMBI said Dr. KAUNDA believed in empowering the Zambian people.

MEANWHILE, PF Lusaka Central candidate MARGARET MWANAKATWE said the 21 day of mourning for Dr. KAUNDA was wise because it enabled everyone to reflect on the country’s peace which was a hall mark for the first president.
