TOP STAR,MEDIA OWNERS TOLD TO RESOLVE PROBLEMS AMICABLY

Information and Media Minister CHUSHI KASANDA has urged Top star and the Media Owners Association of Zambia to amicably resolve their differences for the betterment of the media.

Ms. KASANDA says the Ministry has learnt with concern the differences that have existed between the Top star-the signal carrier and media owners.

She says the two parties should reach a consensus and come up with ways to harmonise the situation.

Ms. KASANDA was speaking during a consultative meeting with Top star, Media Owners, Independent Broadcasting Authority-IBA, ZNBC and ZICTA at her office.

And Media Owners Association of Zambia president EVANS BANDA thanked the Minister for engaging media owners and Top Star.

Mr. BANDA said the association has for long time been looking forward to holding such a meeting
