Tickets for Chipolopolo clash with Mozambique go on sale

The Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has announced the ticket prices for Saturday’s second leg Algeria 2023 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier at National Heroes Stadium against Mozambique.

The tickets will cost between K30 and K1000 with corporate boxes pegged at K20,000.

The tickets have since gone on sale at shoprite outlets around the country via Computicketing.

“Fans wishing to grab tickets for Saturday’s Algeria 2023 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier between Zambia and Mozambique at National Heroes Stadium can dash to their nearest Shoprite outlet for their purchases.

Tickets catering for various income streams of fans are fetching as low as K30 and K50 and being sold via Computicket.”

The Chipolopolo host the mambas in the return leg, second round tie after the first leg ended 0-0 in Maputo.

The winner over the two legs will meet Malawi to decide who qualifies to Algeria.

The Flames walked through to the final round after Zimbabwe could not play their game owing to a FIFA ban.

CHAN is a competition exclusive to players plying their trade in the domestic league.

Zambia’s best outing at the CHAN tournament came in 2009, the inaugural showpiece in Ivory Coast when the team came out third with Given Singuluma winning the golden boot.

The 7the edition of the African Nations Championship will be held in Algeria between 8th and 31st January 2023.

Kickoff is at 15:00 hours.
