The Post advise to Muvi TV: Prepare a long winding battle

The Post Newspapers News Editor Joseph Mwenda has advised Muvi Television staff to brace themselves for difficult times ahead following Independent Broadcasting Authority  (IBA) .

Mwenda wrote:

Dear Muvi TV,

We, at The Post are deeply saddened to see police surround your television station, illegally shutting down your transmitters by force, but we are not surprised. In fact, we salute you for surviving this long.

Here is my first advise to my fellow employees at Muvi TV; don’t expect to reopen your station in the next three hours, four days or four weeks, prepare for a long winding battle.

Secondly, prepare for worse because this is just the beginning, plan ahead and brace for teargas and possible bullets.

Finally, don’t waste time responding to those who are delighted at your misfortune, they will derail you and break you emotionally.

At The Post, they have annoyingly told us, ‘just pay!’ Today we are still publishing, and we can confidently challenge them, “Open We Pay!”

Oh, and Prime TV? Either find the Dununa Reverse video and play it on repeat or start folding your cables, Coz you are next!
