The pattern of results hasn’t been okay says Buffaloes coach

MTN Super League leaders Green Buffaloes’ coach Justin Chinama is not impressed with his side’s poor string of results.

The Zambia Army sponsored side have gone for 270 minutes without recording a win.

Buffaloes were unbeaten in the first 12 matches until they suffered a 2-0 defeat to second placed Green Eagles.

Since that defeat in Choma, Buffaloes have thrown away leads against Prison Leopards and Forest Rangers. Chinama has been quoted by the Times of Zambia.

“We started well, but if we are not able to protect our lead, it must be a very serious concern. It is just a few lapses defensively,” Chinama has been quoted by the Times of Zambia.

“The pattern of results hasn’t been okay but we will make sure we protect our top position and we will do whatever it takes to protect that position,”

Up next for the soldiers is a date against Buildcon at Lusaka’s Woodlands Stadium on Saturday.

Chinama’s twin tower Friday Samu and Martin Njobvu have scored 16 goals between.

Samu is leading scorer with 12 goals.
