The Kitwe derby is here as Power Dynamos welcomes Nkana

The biggest game in the land, The Kitwe derby will come alive on Saturday as Power Dynamos welcome rivals Nkana to Arthur Davies Stadium.

With pride at stake, Both teams will be desperate to record maximum points.

The battle for top four is heating and Nkana want to maintain their place in the top four with Power Dynamos looking to break into the top four bracket.

Coming into this match Kalampa warmed up for the derby with a resounding 2-0 victory over Buildcon on the same day Power drew 1-1 with Kansanshi Dynamos away in Solwezi.

Kalampa sit in 4th place with 49 points from 32 matches played, but need wins in the remaining games to cement a top 4 finish meanwhile, Power is 6th on the league table with 44 points.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Joshua ‘Budo’ Mutale is expected to be Power Dynamos’ spark in the middle of the park with his trickery and creativity.

Upfront Brian Mwila and Kennedy Musonda will be the ones to get the goals for the Ndeke based outfit.

Kalampa have Jacob Ngulube and Patrick Gondwe for creativity with Oliver Lumbiya protecting the back four.

Former Power Dynamos forward Alex Ng’onga who is now a Nkana cult hero will lead the attack.

Abayellow have been dominant in this fixture since 2008 claiming 12 wins against Nkana’s 8 wins, while 7 games have ended in a draw.
