TENNIS: Justennis Wins Junior Tournament

Justennis club, has emerged winners of a junior midlands closed tennis tournament that was held at Mulungushi Village.

The tournament drew participants from within Lusaka and attracted children from 10 to 14 years.

Seven teams participated in the tournament which was aimed at selecting a team that will take part in the inter- provincial tennis tournament.

And, Zambia Tennis Association Programme Coordinator SYLVESTER NTUMBA said the association is focusing on training future tennis players in the country.

Champion Haven, the sponsors of the tournament, urged other corporate companies to come on board and support tennis.

Director SYDNEY MATETE said there is a need for more partnerships to help the government grow the sport  in the country.
