Tenant Chilumba appointed Nkwazi TD

Zambia Super League side, Nkwazi football club has appointed Tenant Chilumba as technical director.

This according to a statement by club Media Officer, Chashinsha Busenga which was availed to the ZamFoot Crew.

“Nkwazi Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Tenant Chilumba as Technical Director with immediate effect.”

Dennis Makinka and his assistants have all maintained their positions with Chilumba only added to the set up.

Club General Secretary Masauso Kalililo, who announced Chilumba’s appointment told Nkwazi Media that his experience makes Chilumba the right person to help Nkwazi turn their fortunes around.

“Following the recent results posted by the team, the High Command sought ways to help the technical bench in improving the team’s results starting with the next fixutre against Red Arrows,” Kalililo said.

“High Command has decided to bring in Mr Chilumba in as Technical Director to work with our bench in helping to improve the results.”

“The technical bench has been retained, no one has been fired we have just decided to bring in Mr Chilumba to work in the role of technical director,” he added.

Chilumba has been out of the job since 18th January when he mutually separated with Kansanshi Dynamos six months after joining the Solwezi based outfit.

Makinka’s men are currently 12th on the log with 33 points from 28 games played so far.

The Zambia police sponsored outfit has only managed to win three of their last 17 games collecting only 11 points from a possible 51.
