SUPER LEAGUE TITLE ENTERS DOG FIGHT

Log leaders Red Arrows Football Club’s lead on the MTN Super league table has been reduced to 5 points.

This is after the Air men drew one all  against Zanaco while second placed ZESCO United  came from a goal down to beat Buildcon by 2-1 in a Ndola derby.

The draw against the Bankers takes the point tally to 60 for Arrows while ZESCO united who bounced back courtesy of goals from JOHN CHIG’ANDU and COLLINS SIKOMBE are second on 55 points after week 30 fixtures played today.

In an early  kickoff encounter at Nkoloma stadium, Green Eagles beat Green Buffaloes by 2-1 in an all-military affair as eagles  cemented third position on 52 points.

A Brace from CEPHAS MULOMBWA restored sanity at the Godfrey Chitalu stadium as Kabwe warriors beat Nkwazi by 2-0 to put the team on the 7th position on 40 points.

Forest Rangers who traveled to North-Western province recorded their second win in 5 games and 8th of the season in total as they recorded a two-one win over Kansanshi dynamos.

And Copperbelt based side Chambeshi have made it 2 wins in a role after beating Lusaka Dynamos by 2-1 while Konkola Blades thrashed Kafue Celtics by 3-0 score-line.

Meanwhile, In the Eden University National Division one, MUZA football Club has become the second team to win promotion to the Super league after beating Kabwe youth Soccer Academy by 2-1.

MUZA joins Lumwana Radiants who already sealed qualification with four games to spare.
