Sunday Chanda Condemns Opposition

By Hannock Kasama-Patriotic Front -PF- Media Director Sunday Chanda has condemned opposition leaders that are politicising the prices of mealie and the energy deficit in the country.Mr Chanda says opposition leaders must offer alternative solutions to improve the country’s food security.He was speaking in an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka today.Mr Chanda acknowledged that with climate change, there is need for Zambians to resort to cultivating drought resistant crops.Meanwhile, Mr. Chanda said there is no need to politicise the energy crisis as the electricity deficit in the country has been worsened by effects of climate change.He said the effects of climate change have necessitated drought, resulting in low water levels in water bodies where hydropower is generated.
