Stop preaching tribalism – CHITIMUKULU

(ZANIS) Paramount Chief CHITIMUKULU of Northern Province has called on politicians to stop preaching tribalism.

ZANIS reports that Paramount Chief CHITIMUKULU said this when Lands and Natural Resources Minister ELIJAH MUCHIMA paid a courtesy call on him in Kasama.

The traditional leader said politicians should be promoting peace and unity unlike causing unnecessary divisions.

He said it is not right for opposition political parties to react to anything that the government does.

And Dr. MUCHIMA said he is happy that he has been received well by all the chiefs in the area.

Dr. MUCHIMA said government will continue working with chiefs and improve their living standards through the construction of palaces across the country.
