Stop Exporting Jobs-Mabumba Tells TCZ

By Austin Mwale-Government has directed the Teaching Council of Zambia to stop printing registration certificates and Teachers’ practising licenses outside the country .General Education Minister David Mabumba says there is no need to export jobs by printing these documents outs the country.Mr. Mabumba says the documents can easily be printed locally.He was speaking during a meeting to introduce the newly appointed Teaching Service Commission Chairperson Chama Chambula.Meanwhile Mr. Mabumba has urged the council to work with other stakeholders to ensure that only students with the right qualifications are enrolled in Institutions of Higher Learning.Mr. Mabumba said it is NOT right to enroll a student without proper qualitication into a University because this can affect the performance of pupils in future.Speaking at the same function Service Chairperson Professor Chama Chambula said he will take on board the concerns raised by the Minister.And the Teaching Service Commission Counselor Miyoba Hamayanga said the members of the Board are   are eager to transform the operations of the service.
