Souleymanou Moussa back at Zanaco

Cameroonian midfielder Souleymanou Moussa has returned to Sunset Stadium to rejoin his Sensational Zanaco teammates after a compassionate leave.

According to a statement by the Club Souleymanou Moussa left for Cameroon in September last year to take care of his mother. His contract with the Bankers ended in December and decided to renew it early this year.

“Zanaco football club is delighted to announce that Cameroonian midfielder, Moussa Souleymanou has returned at the club after being away since September 2020 after the expiry of his contract.

Souleymanou took a compassionate leave in September before negotiating for a new deal and went back to Cameroon to take care of his mom who was sick. His contract ended on the 31st of December 2020 and he decided to renew it early this year.”

Moussa is now back in the country and resumed training with the Bankers yesterday. Souleymanou is expected to be available for selection for the Red Arrows match this Saturday.

Zanaco Football Club General Manager Marlon Kananda has expressed happiness that Souleymanou is back.

“I am happy that he is back. It is good for the club and we know that he will add value,” he said
