SOCIAL MEDIA ABUSE CONDEMNED

(ZANIS) Opposition United Party for National Development -UPND- Shiwang’andu Constituency candidate, ALBERT MUNANGA, has condemned abuse of social media in the country.

Mr. MUNANGA has also discredited a video circulating on social media suggesting that there is too much violence in Shiwang’andu Constituency of Muchinga Province.

Meanwhile, Mr. MUNANGA and his fellow contender in the August 12 General Election for Shiwang’andu Constituency, STEPHEN KAMPYONGO of the Patriotic Front -PF- have both called for peaceful campaigns ahead of the August 12, polls.

The two were speaking in Shiwang’andu today during a reconciliation meeting for the two political parties arranged by Muchinga Police Commissioner LIZZIE MACHINA following fake reports of clashes in the area.
