Slackers face the boot in 2023,HH warns

Paul Shalala-President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA has warned that any Cabinet Minister who will be seen frustrating government’s developmental agenda in 2023 will be fired.

President HICHILEMA says 2023 is the year his government wants to unlock the economy and ensure that the grassroots benefits from it’s developmental agenda.

Speaking when he led hundreds of farmers and ranchers on a guided tour of his Namindwe Ranch in Namwala District ahead of an auction for a hundred bulls, President HICHILEMA said even civil servants who will stand in the way of government will be discipline.

President HICHILEMA said people who still have a challenge in accepting change had one year to make up their mind and fit into the new government.

Meanwhile President HICHILEMA has disclosed that government will present an amendment on the Constituency Development Funds -CDF-Act when Parliament resumes in February 2023.

President HICHILEMA said the amendment will help reduce the rigidity in accessing CDF .

President HICHILEMA said he wants as many people to access the fund so that they can implement projects which will develop the nation.

Meanwhile, President HICHILEMA has disclosed that starting next year, government will provide officers who will help people with project proposals for CDF projects.

President HICHILEMA said government wants to ensure that Zambians who have ideas for projects are helped to formulate a viable business proposal to access the funds.
