“SIMPLIFY CDF APPLICATION PROCEDURE”

Small and Medium Enterprises Minister ELIAS MUBANGA has appealed to local authorities across the country to ensure that they help Cooperatives, Associations and individuals to fill in forms for accessing Constituency Development Funds -CDF.

Mr. MUBANGA says his ministry has agreed with Ministries of Youth and Sport, Local Government and Science and Technology to simplify all procedures so that people can begin to access funds.

He explains that Council secretaries working with District Commissioners should now ensure that procedures are completed on time.

Mr. MUBANGA has told ZNBC news that over 10 Million Kwacha has already been disbursed to each of the 156 constituencies.

He states that it is now up to the councils to start implementing so that projects such as building of roads, clinics and disbursement of bursaries, amomg others, can start.

Mr. MUBANGA adds that his Ministry has started sensitizing the public through Radio and other platforms so that they can know required procedures.
