Simba SC confirms Clatous Chota Chama departure

Tanzanian side Simba SC has confirmed the departure of Chipolopolo midfield ace Clatous Chota Chama from the club.

Simba took to social media to confirm that they had reached an agreement with an unnamed club for the permanent transfer of the former Lusaka Dynamos skipper.

Simba also took time to send good wishes to Chama and Luis Jose Miquissone who has also left the club as they duo begin their new life away from the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium.

“Simba Sports Club wishes to inform the public that in the current transfer window, it received several offers for its players from various clubs across the continent.

Simba has officially reached an agreement with two foreign clubs over the permanent transfer of two of its players: Clatous Chama and Luis Miquissone.

Our collective team successes in the CAF Champions League in recent years have opened doors for the duo to be seen abroad.

We are extremely grateful to Clatous and Luis Miquissone for their incredible service to the club throughout their time at Simba. We will always treasure the wonderful memories they left us with.

As they move onto the next chapter of their professional careers, we wish them great success. Clatous and Luis will forever be part of the Simba family.”

The ZamFoot Crew understands that Chama will join Moroccan outfit Renaissance Sportive de Berkane commonly known as Nahdat Berkane or RS Berkane with everything is done and only official announcement remaining.

The ZamFoot understands that Chama will pen a three-year deal but already started training with his new teammates last week Thursday. The Oranges Boys are expected to make an official announcement later this week.
