SILK FARM AT 95%

Works at the Mupika Sericulture Farm in Mpika District of Muchinga Province have advanced with its infrastructure now at 95-percent.

This came to light when Muchinga Province Permanent Secretary Davison Mulenga visited the silk farm to appreciate its operations.

The Wonderful Group of companies 31-million dollar Silk Farm is cultivating mulberry plants which will in turn provide the worms with leaves to feed on in order to produce silk material.

It has so far, harvested over 1-thousand kilograms of silk cocoons.
