SAMUKONGA PROMOTED TO STAFF SERGEANT

Zambia National Service Commander Lieutenant General MALITI SOLOCHI has promoted Gold medalist MUZALA SAMUKONGA from Sergeant to Staff Sergeant.

General SOLOCHI has also promoted RHODA NJOVU from Corporal to Sergeant.

This follows their exceptional performance at the recently ended athletics championship in Botswana.

The ZNS Commander has also employed 5 other sportsmen and women into the service for their outstanding performances at various sporting events.

Speaking when he received medals from the winners, General SOLOCHI said ZNS is passionate about growing sport.

Meanwhile, Zambia Athletics President ELIAS MPONDELA said more is yet to come from the athletes.
