SACCORD WANTS CONSTITUTIONAL REFORM ROAD MAP

Southern African Centre for Constructive Resolution of Disputes -SACCORD- Executive Director, BONIFACE CHEMBE has urged the judiciary to release a road map of constitutional reforms.

Speaking on the sidelines of a public forum held in Kitwe on the Copperbelt, Mr CHEMBE said any legislation and legal reforms can only be successful if done way before the general elections.

And, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Country Programme Manager, KATHY SHORT said constitutional reforms are one way of promoting the country’s democracy.

Ms SHORT explained that her organisation will continue to partner with civic organisations and government to ensure the path on good governance continue.
