RUSSIA-UKRAINE WAR UNNECESSARY-HH

President HAKAINDE HICHILEMA says the Russia-Ukraine war is unnecessary as it is disturbing international trade.

In his first direct comments over the war,the President has explained that the war has led to the skyrocketing commodity prices on the international market.

The President was speaking today at State House, when he hosted luncheon for some freedom fighters, who included veteran politician, VERNON MWAANGA.

And President HICHILEMA has thanked the freedom fighters for their hardworking and sacrifice made in liberating the country.

And Mr MWAANGA, who led the five man delegation of freedom fighters, who were UNIP youths and some later served as Diplomats, said he and his colleagues are proud of President HICHILEMA’s works.
