RTSA IMPOUNDS VEHICLES

The Road Transport and Safety Agency -RTSA – has impounded several vehicles in Lusaka for violating road traffic rules and regulations.

And RTSA has so far impounded 22 vehicles on the Great North Road since the start of the exercise yesterday.

Acting RTSA Public Relations Manager, ROY HAABALU says the exercise is being conducted throughout the holiday.

Mr. HAABALU says the agency has noted that most motorists defy Road safety rules and regulations during the long holiday.

He says officers from the Agency have been deployed on various highways to enforce traffic rules and regulations.

Mr. HAABALU has since urged motorists to observe traffic rules and regulations to avoid being inconvenienced.
