On the edge of the area, Steven Davis picked out the most phenomenal ball for Sakala to win at the back post, and he shot across goal and found the net off the inside of the near post for number five, his third, scoring his first hat-trick in the Scottish Premier League and the first Zambian to do so.

Glen Kamara scored the fourth goal while Kemar Roofe rounded off the Motherwell thrashing with a sixth goal.
