Riots breakout in Choma, Mongu

Riots have broken out in Choma town following the raid of UPND president Hakainde Hichilema’s residence last night by the police.

The Lusaka, Livingstone road has been blocked. Vehicles are being prevented from passing through the town. Armed Police officers are trying to calm the situation and are firing teargas.

In Mongu riots brokeout early hours of Tuesday as UPND Supporters blocked roads and were burning tyres on the roads.
