“REVIVE PU IN SCHOOLS”

Dr. Kalumba says Production units have the potential to change the face of education once taken seriously by schools.

He added that the production units will further equip pupils with skills to enable them generate their own wealth.

Dr. Kalumba was speaking on the outskirts of Chingola on the Copperbelt after inspecting eight hectors of maize field for the district education board.

Meanwhile, Copperbelt Province Education Officer Felix Ngoma said apart from agriculture activities, the production unit will also venture into livestock.

And Chingola District Education Board Secretary Noah Simulunga said the farm will enable the school generate funds to support various education activities.
