Rev. Sumaili Appeals For Peace

Etambuyu Katota-National Guidance and Religious Affairs Minister GODFRIDAH SUMAILI has appealed to political players to preserve the country’s peace before and after this year’s General election.

Reverend SUMAILI has also counselled Zambians against being used as tools of political violence.

She said this in an interview with ZNBC News in Lusaka .

And Reverend SUMAILI who expressed dismay at the increased spouse killings has called on the church to intensify counselling sessions for couples.

She said the trend needs to be stopped as it is against the Christian norms.

Reverend SUMAILI also encouraged churches to strictly adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines as the county is experiencing the second wave of the pandemic.
