RB Mourned

Mwila Nsofu-Messages of Condolence have started pouring in after the demise of Fourth Republican President RUPIAH BANDA.

A Kitwe Resident OSWARD MUYANGA says Mr BANDA will be fondly remembered as the selfless leader.

Mr MUYANGA says Mr BANDA had a strong passion for sports.

He told ZNBC News that Soccer being his favourite and he also a soccer academy which he named after his home village Chiparamba in Chipata.

And the Emeralds and Semi – Precious Stones Mining Association President VICTOR KALESHI has described the Mr. BANDA will be respected because he respected the democratic tenets of the country.

Mr KALESHI said that Mr BANDA was instrumental in encouraging Small Scale Miners venture into Mining.

And Chingola African Methodist Episcopal Church Temple Downtown Senior Pastor ROYD MWANDU said that the lost of Mr BANDA is a dark day for Zambia.

Dr. MWANDU has decribed Mr BANDA as a tolerant leader and very accomodative.

He also said that Mr BANDA will be remembered for graciously handing over power.
