RB CALLS FOR PEACE

Fourth Republican President RUPIAH BANDA has urged Zambians to remain peaceful as they cast their votes in today’s General election.

Mr. BANDA says it is important that peace is maintained in the country.

He explained that the young generation will have no home if the peace of the country is disturbed.

Mr. BANDA has urged Zambians to return home and wait for the results after voting.

The Former President has also thanked Zambians for their enthusiasm to choose their leaders.

Mr. BANDA cast his vote at about mid-morning at Lima D1 polling station in Chawama Constituency in Lusaka.

The Former Head of State was accompanied by former First Lady THANDIWE BANDA.
