Quickly process investment pledges – Expert

Energy Expert JOHNSTONE CHIKWANDA has urged Government to shorten the approval processes of investment pledges in the energy sector.

Dr. CHIKWANDA says it is commendable that Government has been able to woo over EIGHT Billion dollars investment pledges of which the energy sector received numerous interests.

He says this means that Government should revisit the laws so that the approval processes are shortened.

In an interview with ZNBC News, Dr. CHIKWANDA noted that with the attractive electricity tariffs, it is important that an action plan is formulated to accelerate the implementation of investment pledges in the energy sector.
